Woody1948
Hi first time poster. I am about to install some Champagne coloured ? brick slips around a backsplash and sink and one small wall. I have purchased the appropriate grout and adhesive. However after not doing my homework I see the European method is to mount the slips on one another without the grout. Any thoughts on this. Thanks Jim.

I haven't heard of this. Tolerance adjustment seems one very good reason for a grout gap.

Woody1948
With and without think I like the mortar. But some may prefer without.?

I've not come across that. The closest would be Zellige ceramic tiles, which are close-butted but still grouted. Without grout they would soon become a cleaning problem. saveasteading
Without grout looks like a pile of bricks and spider hotel, to me.
