The meter will also have to be moved, this is done by the electric provider. 2. BUT... You .might be able to keep the meter in the box as the permanent installation, and run your own cable from the main fuse I side you your co sumer unit. Lots of us have made our temp box the permanent box for example as it’s a cost effective way to do it. You obviously need to build your temp box as a permanent installation though.
