Fire Ratings on Insulation

Recommended Posts

Just doing a fire rating check on all of the insulation in our construction drawings, and noticed that our floor insulation is rated "F - Combustible Materials - Easily Flammable". It's Kingspan Thermfloor TF70.

There will be 125mm of this insulation across the entire ground floor, and 25mm across first floor. Both floors will have 75mm concrete screed above this insulation for under floor heating. Both floors will be concrete (first floor is precast concrete slabs).

The other Kingspan option is also rated F.

Curious if this is standard enough for floor insulation to be so combustible?
