Plaster Coving - Fixing Help

Hi All

 

The mrs has her heart set on some coving in our new kitchen. We ordered a sample and it came today, I was expecting some lightweight gypsum coving which I’ve used in the past!

 

The coving is hard plaster coving and heavy! What is the best way to cut/fix/install this type of coving?

 

I would like to get some mechanical fixings in but it doesn’t seem straightforward

 

Literally any advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

I fit a lot of these as part of my business They have sent you plaster cornice Not really a diy job Normally in 3 mtr lengths and quite heavy 

Gyprok would be easier
