Toilet discharge - rear or floor?

Am looking into buying second hand toilets for my new build. Would it be easier to get rear discharging ones as they have a bit of play with placement, especially on the ground floor as waste pipes in concrete may not exactly line up? Same for upstairs? Any other advice? Thanks

I second rear discharge, various fittings available to cope with mis alignment.
