vk2003
I’m looking to do a shaker style installation in our study of some cabinetry but as we will have some open cupboards. We would like the interior of the carcass to be the same colour as the doors. Does anyone know of any companies that do this? My research suggests that Howdens/Wickes/B&Q etc don’t. I know we could simply line the interiors with coloured end panels but this seems wasteful of material, space and money! (I can’t believe that 8 years after building, we are still trying to finish the interior of the house!) johnhenstock83
Go with oak, adds a nice finishing touch to open units. No kitchen supplier supplies caninets in more than 3-4 colours: white, grey, oak, cream.
AliG
These two companies offer multiple carcass colours. We used DIYHomefit for our dressing room with walnut effect carcasses to match our doors and flooring. https://www.larkandlarks.co.uk https://www.diyhomefit.co.uk DIY Kitchens offers 7 cabinet colours which can match door colours.
Conor
We 3ant3s to do this but the kitchen maker really reccomended not to. Said it looks flat and the surfaces flget scratched and grubby. We went with oak effect that was close to our flooring and love it. Need the contrast.
