Dan1983
Evening all, Im just waiting to get my oak framed garage interior painted and was thinking of using danish oil on the exposed oak before the walls are painted. Some of the danish oil will end up on the fresh plaster, would anyone happen to know if this will cause issues for the decorator? Was wondering if the water based paint may not adhere to the oil on the plaster? many thanks for any pointers
MikeSharp01
You cannot paint easily over oil, and danish oil is not water soluble so will creep through unless you paint over it with one of those oil based stain paints.
Dan1983
Ah that’s what I was worried about Mike. Think I best leave it then
