Are all dormers difficult to detail?

 

I have one planned currently - although it's not a hard requirement. I'd like to use that room as an office and without the dormer I end up with a slim and long room.

 

I could ditch the dormer and swap the office around with the shower room. I long slim shower room is more useable I think. Although the shower room is currently ideally placed as it's directly above the bathroom and then the WC at the ground floor.
