Removing Laitence from Screed

Hi all

 

I have got to lay small area of tiles, what’s the best way to remove a small area of laitence from anhydrite screed?

 

When it’s time to do the whole area (125m2) what is the best way to do that?

 

could I do it by hand or do I need to hire something?

We just use a wide blade floor scraper (450) with a nice new blade Your only taking 3-5 mil off Peels like butter 🧈

Unfortunately I think I have left it too late to do that, my screed has been poured a couple of months ago.

 

would I need to hire a floor scarifier?

If it won’t scrape off It will be ok to tile
