Barryscotland Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 We got the house scratch coated last year and then the weather turned and the Builder (retired father inlaw) went into hibernation. He's now started to roughcast but the final coat is drying out far to quickly for him to get it smoothed out before throwing stones at it. Is there any magic stuff than can be added that might not of been available when he was working 13 years ago to slow the drying time? Scratch coat is being well and truly soaked before hand.
nod Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 I’m guessing sand and cement use two spades of lime instead of a plastersizer
