Patio door cavity filling

Hi all, 

 

How can I fill my cavity between my brick skins? Would be doing a L shape with DPM and filling with screed be suitable? DPM running up the back of the patio door side.

Make a U shape with The DPC Stand some rigid insulation in 50 mil short of the floor Fill with mortar

depending on if you want to bother about cold bridging, a better way is to insulate then conc over
