Slate Roof Fitting Prices

Hi All,

 

What is the general labour only going rate north west uk for felt/batten/slating a roof? I know it depends on how complex it is, but generally speaking looking to understand where you would price, assuming its on a m2 basis. This would be on a roof over 200m2

We were quoted 40-60 m2  Lancashire My wife and myself have just finished ours 320m2 50 meters of valleys 

It seemed the way they quoted would be the workshop and two straightforward sides would be 40m2 and the valleys 60m2
