Post and beam
I would like to get my UFH supplied under a one stop shop basis if at all possble. Is this not how this is done? I guess so as the question appears to cause confusion when i have asked it. A quote i got today totally ignored the screed element even though this was a primary question when i first contacted them. It also makes me nervous when the manifold brand & model is not clearly identified.
nod
Most of the screeding companies will do both Rather than the other way round
Post and beam
The screed companies will install the pipework you mean? My reason for wanting a one stop shop is to remove the potential for A blaming B if an issues arises. A screed company wont do the pressure test and comission the system though. Thats what i mean by a one stop shop.

Hi nick, No not yet. If there are companies out there that do both halves of this task then i think they are the guys i want to talk to.

There would be nothing wrong with getting an UFH installer to lay, connect, and then pressure test the pipework, leaving a gauge connected for 'customer confidence', and then an independent screed company follows up with the pour. Nickfromwales
@Post and beam If you need a good screeder, my guy will travel. He's very good, and has done screeding over UFH pipes for at least one other member here. That just leaves you to find an UFH installer. PM me if that's of any help and I'll put you in touch with him.

This is a good approach if you are worried. It is a very low chance of a screeder doing something wrong, which impacts the UFH. Long as the pipes are clipped properly (you can check) and capped properly (you can check)... The screeder will just pour the floor. I don't see what could go wrong from a UFH damage. The UFH pipe is very very robust, we had ours trampled for a few weeks due to delays with screed, then had a week of -5 to - 8 degree temps and no issues at all.
