dave1967
Hello Looking for a solution for slow draining toilet and gurgling. Its downstairs with no vent and needs one I think as when i put a hose pipe through the toilet pan connector it solves the issue. The drain runs about 18 feet in total until it tees in with main drain about 7 to 8ft down. Currently it have a swan neck connector as drain only 5" from the wall. I cant seem to find a close fitting connector that i can fit an air inlet valve to. Any thoughts or help will be greatly appreciated. Mr Punter
Can you install a short stack with an AAV on top and connect into that?

dave1967
Actually just checked again and it is positive pressure so may be a blockage further down?
Mr Punter
If you do the short stack with AAV you can include rodding access.

Fitted 40mm offset connector and mcalpine pan connector with 32mm branch on to which i have fitted an aav. Managed to road up from the manhole and cleared a large blockage. Hopefully its sorted, only just moved in in Nov so may have been a n issue for a while. All working fine now.
