Not putting bathroom in

Recommended Posts

We are doing an extension on a Building Notice and I’m toying with not bothering to put the extra (very tiny) shower/loo in, to save money. I stupidly asked the BC officer about it and he said ‘Ah, if you hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have known, before sign off, but now I’ve got to note it down’ 😖

So that effectively means I’ve got to leave the BN open indefinitely while I get some money together (and activate it by asking for inspections)  or submit another BN (which might be quite expensive re drawings).

Any other suggestions/advice please?

Tell them the room will become a cupboard. Cap the pipes. Instruct BCO to delete it.

Simples.
