December 30, 20223 yr Hi all, I have an older property and currently renovating. It's on the first floor and accessed at the side via an old metal staircase which is covered in rust and old paint. I have managed to get the upper side sanded with an angle grinder through the summer and painted, but I'm struggling to get the underside of the stairs done. access is also a problem due to the height, normal ladders don't fit and larger ladders are too big! If any of you have any ideas on how best to tackle this I'd gladly appreciate. Warm Regards, Jim

December 31, 20223 yr just get someone to come and media blast it. the cost will be hard to swallow but the time saved will make up for it.
