pimpi
Dear all, i'm from germany, i bought a house with a Samsung Heatpump, which is more famous in UK - i think - so I hope someone here can help me. The Heatpump is not very efficient. It generates less than 2 kWh "Heat" per 1 KWh "Power" (Water Outlet 40° / Outdoor temperatur 2 °) Even when the outdoor temperature is @ 5-9 ° it just reaches 2,2 KWh Heat per 1 KWh "Power" Do you guys have experiance with this Pump and its efficency ? Maybe you can post some screenshots of your statistics ? My FlowSensor says @100 % 47 lpm .... I suppose this is maybe too less flow ?? I would also be interessted in your figures here.... Idealy someone can share his Fieldsettings for heating ? Thank you guys Ferdinand
ReedRichards
How do you measure the heat output?
pimpi
The Pump itself has a menu in which this statistic is displayed
Siggles
I'm guessing you'd water the Water Outlet higher than 40 degrees when temp outside is 2 degrees? I had this problem and in one of the settings the numbers were back to front, so that it worked harder in the Summer. My Water Outlet temp is now 50 on a day like today when it is -2 outside. I can point you in the direction of some videos etc to help get to the setting to check it if you want?
pimpi
Hey Siggles, thanks for your answer. Yes my Water Outlet is near 42-43 degrees. It would be very helpful for me to get this videos... and also to see the stats of your pump. My main Problem is the efficiency of the pump. It needs 60-70 kWh per Day - to heat a flat with 70sq m Maybe you can also send me the settings of your Heatpump. HughF
We need more information on how this is installed. Any hydraulic separation, is the primary pump under PWM control, is the samsung controller the only controller in the system, and it is installed in the living space? Please post photos.
