nickhowes
I am intending to apply for a LDC for several changes to our bungalow which are all permissible under permitted development: extending 50% of length of building at each end, 8 metre extension at back, front porch, dormer windows. Can anyone advise me whether I need to put in a separate application for each enlargement or can I submit one application with a set of drawings that shows all changes to the building? I am doing this to achieve a fall back position to trade for a planning application. Thanks, Nick
DevilDamo
Nothing wrong with one LDC application, which covers several additions via PD. However, your 8m extension will require Prior Approval.
nickhowes
Thanks for answering my question, yes I will be seeking prior approval to all the changes before I start any work. Thanks, Nick
Temp
Sorry if obvious but I don't think you can put the 8m extension on the application for a certificate of lawfulness, at least not until its been granted under the prior approval scheme. I think if you do it will be refused.
