Pocster
I've got to do tons of suspended ceiling stuff ( tiles 60 x 60 cm ). I decided to start 'easy' with my tiny WC. It's approx area is 80 x 80 cm. I thought that I could get an oversized tile and simply cut it to fit that. I now see there is generally either 60x60 or 1200x60 Really don't want to do a suspended system in such a tiny room just for the sake of 1.5 tiles. Was about to start the perimeter trim and then realised my issue. Googled - can't find ANY tile that I can cut down to suit. Any other suggestions?. Don't want a plasterer in as he won't turn up for years/months - so was thinking of a simple do-able solution; for a neat simple ceiling.
Pocster
Maybe a shower panel cut down to size?. 60 quid though ffs!
Pocster
https://www.panelcompany.co.uk/collections/ceiling-panels/products/gloss-white-v-groove-6mm ? I presume their weight is nominal so could just sit on the perimeter trim i.e. require no metal wire or any other support.
Pocster
OK! I think that's it. OSB 'ceiling' and just stick this stuff too it !
Carrerahill
Just now, pocster said: OK! I think that's it. OSB 'ceiling' and just stick this stuff too it ! Plywood, cut in perfectly and neatly and paint. Centre line will not offend if done right. Or learn to skim or even tape and fill.
