casualathlete
Hi, after some advice if possible. I have just finished laying a 22mm T&G chipboard floor throughout our renovation. Once the kitchen is installed I am going to install Prowarm overlay boards for the underfloor heating, we are going to have LVT on top as a final floor finish. However I have been told by the installer of the flooring that something will need to be between the two. What do people advise? I was thinking 4mm ply sheets. Will these be sturdy enough under the LVT? What do people think? Any advice would be very helpful thanks.
Temp
Ask Prowarm. They promote their UFH for use with LVT but that page is short of detail.. https://prowarm.com/floors/vinyl Have you got lots of insulation under the chipboard?
Nickfromwales
Look also at Wunda, as they seem to have a lot more info on their site. May be worth considering their options, but I have no idea of price comparability etc.
