October 20, 20223 yr At a recent meeting I was informed that we needed to get 52 houses plastered and rendered by Christmas As the first 40 had sold Today I was informed 11 of those sales have fallen through due to mortgage offers being withdrawn A very strange situation With wages high in every industry and low unemployment Perhaps we will see more shared ownership Like what was very popular in the 80s
October 20, 20223 yr We've got a few sites near me that started groundworks and access roads in the last few months after sitting on the land for umpteen years, I do wonder if they'll plough on through and hope they get buyers for the first tranche of houses or just shut the gates for a while
