Smart Meter Usage Display

Our Smart Meter came with a usage Display. The problem is the smart meter is in an outbuilding about 20 metres from the main house.  Her indoor wants to use the display, so Is there any way to get the display working in the house?

 

I assume the display and the smart meter talk to each other using Bluetooth or WiFi or other such new fangled means?

Best place for a smart meter display is in the bin or you will drive yourself nuts watching and stressing over it.
