_MarkR_ Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Hello, Odd for me to join a self build forum. I've been doing it for a living since 1990 But a small firm specialising in renovation work to old listed buildings. I'm just setting out to get planning for a modern insulated house, for myself; having lived in an old stone house for 30 years. Hoping to learn about insulated raft foundations, air source underfloor heating and triple glazing! Cheers, Mark

SteamyTea Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Welcome. Add heat loss calculations, airtightness and condensation risk analysis to the list.
