nod Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 As previously stated I chose to strip part of our fields top soil in order to bury nearly a 1000 tons of clay from the first plot Then push the top soil back over We tidied up the field on Friday Leaving about three quarters of an acre to seed Called at a local farm Suplies and was told a bag of seed had gone up from £40 to £126 I said to my wife Im not having that We called at another stockiest about five miles away (Coars) Same seed same sacks He said your going to have a shock It’s just gone up from 41 to £60 We are finding this with everything Like fuel Many companies are profiteering Sometimes inconvenient But we must all get used to shopping around
Miek Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 I've had BS roof batten prices from £1.10 to £0.63 per m. Shopping around is the biggest and easiest money saver by far.
