mrshells Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 hi all hope this is the right place to ask I have just built a new house for myself and ive had installed a Ecodan air source Heat pump ive got a Heat meter and an electric meter that meters the supply to the heat pump but what i can't find out is how to calculate the payment i know it Heat meter reading x 0.97 - electric meter reading but this gives a negative figure as the heat meter reads MWh and the electric ,meter reads KWh it would appear that for 1.625 MW i have consumed 259 Kw of electricity
ProDave Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Convert to same units, so it becomes 1625kW * 0.97 -259kW

ReedRichards Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 So that would be: 1.625 * 0.97 - 0.259 MWh = 1.31725 MWh (assuming the readings you gave are actually in MWh and kWh)
