BadgerBadger
What's the best way of getting power and water to outside the of a wall? e.g. for external taps and power sockets. We're just starting foundations and substructure - masonry walls with beam & block floor. Is there anything clever we could be doing to make it easier later on, such as putting some ducting through the substructure?
PeterW
Nope just drill through with a 25mm masonry bit and sleeve with 25mm conduit and seal each end with lots of low modulus sealant.
Temp
If you plan to have power in an outbuilding/detached garage or electric car charger I'd run some duct pipe through the founds near the CU/meter. Other possibility would be a duct and draw rope while you still have a digger for the trench? Oherwise what @PeterWsaid.
