cuttsy
Hi, I`m looking to work out the COP/SCOP of the Daikin air source heat pump that was installed at my home around four & a half years ago, I`ve noticed the Daikin controller has a section called energy metering which has figures for both Consumed electricity = 46,601kWh and Produced energy = 79,602kWh I assume these are totals recorded since the heat pump was installed on 18th August 2017 Would this point to a COP/SCOP of 1.72 ? Apologies in advance for my lack of understanding of heat pump & heat loss calculations etc.

Have you had your system 'tuned' or us it at factory defaults?
JamesP
Good question as I was wanting to post something similar. I assume that is correct. Mine below for 2021 which equates to a COP of 5.3. Though I do wonder about the accuracy of the read out.

I've looked at my ecodan a few times and the conclusion I've come to is that the values are made up so I don't look at them anymore.
