Chamber joists

I believe a few forum members have built using Polarwall ICF.

What's the situation for fixings the hangers when you reach chamber joist level??

We used a timber plate with coach screws into the back instead of the polystyrene to cast into the concrete on the inner section of the Polarwall and face fixed hangers to this.  I am sure there are other methods.

Thank you both very much, looks a very simple but effective solution that gives good tolerance for setting the chamber joists to the desired level.

I was really impressed when I originally asked Alan how it's done - as you said, so simple but effective

 

IIRC Alan said you could then add Insulation between the joists (on top of the timber panel) if you wanted to
