Cheapest Acoustic Plasterboard Supplier?

Knauf vs Soundbloc vs GTEC vs Corex

 

With so many to choose from, where is the cheapest place to get a large volume of acoustic plasterboard?

I'm after approx 700 sheets of 12.5mm 1200x2400.

 

Insulation Express, Insulation Superstore etc?

Does anyone have any secret supplier at good prices?

 

The best I've found so far is between: 

Insulation Superstore: Knauf Sound Panel 12.5mm @ £11.74 per sheet inc VAT

or

Insulation Express: Soundbloc 12.5mm @ £12.14 per sheet inc VAT

I think 700 sheets is well above what people here would order, got to be a ring around job for that quantity me thinks. Bloody heavy stuff to put up, I gave up half way through and used normal. Can't tell the difference now its done.

We buy by the attic load The prices are fixed We used to buy direct from BG 

But now have to go through a merchant 

The best rates are through Sheffield insulation G tech are normally slightly cheaper than BG but not always 

BG have a 5% price rise coming in in Feb
