Just a quick post to say hello.

 

Me and my family (Wife, daughter (9) and son (7)) live in the Horsham area (West Sussex) and are looking to do a Self Build. I say Self Build but I don't actually mean I'll be doing any of the actual building... putting up a curtain pole is about my limit!  

 

The biggest problem seems to be finding a plot in this area (Within about 10-15 miles of Horsham), but I'll post a new topic on that in the relevant section.

Finding a plot can certainly be a big challenge, especially if you're constrained to a particular area.  It took us about three years to find our plot, plus several hundred miles clocked up driving around looking.
