Its non-standard construction so the red bit is steel as far as I am aware. I am not sure what I ask a tradesman to do here. Prep and repaint? If so, with what type of paint? I know a good tradesman should know the answer to these but it would not hurt to know myself so I am not being taken for a ride. Also cost estimates on something like this? ProDave Posted October 27, 2021 Share Posted October 27, 2021 I can't advise what paint, but if you did not know that is a BISF house (British Iron and Steel Foundation) which may help your searching or tell any tradesman you speak to it's BISF.
