Guess the width of this roofing mop stick.

I want to crack on with my retrofit ridge board and think the 122mm x 38mm timber I have found onsite will be up to the job. However will it be wide enough to support the following mop stick profile?

 

Can anyone guess the width of the base in this photo? The wood is described as Lead Roofing Wood Core Roll (50mm x 2.4m Treated) Standard.

even if it was the full 50, thats only 6mm overhang each side of a 38mm board. Crack on

Crack on is a relative concept for me. Be prepared for a follow up question on how to fix the mop stick next week.
