Shortage of aluminum profilesdu

I received a communication from Nordan stating there will be a production delay due to a shortage of aluminum profiles. This occurred on 2nd of July just 3 weeks before delivery due date.

 

Has anyone else received a similar communication from Nordan or any other aluclad window supplier?

My windows from Velfac, Solarlux and Kloeber were all delivered on time, but any materials shortages may have been factored in to the lead times for manufacturing and delivery - 13 weeks for Velfax and Solarlux and 7 weeks for Kloeber (latter a front door only).
