Digital Pressure Monitor

In another post, Nick asked me about monitoring our potable water pressure.  Since I am going to instrument just about every thing else, I started to looking into how I could log this datum stream as well.  I can find low gas pressure sensors (in the mBar range) but nothing for the 1-5 bar range for liquids for sensible prices.  I did think of simply using a standard pressure gauge and using an RPi + PiCam and post processing the images to read the dial.

 

Any better suggestions?

 

Alternatively, butchering the analogue dial and adding a pot on it so that I convert the angle to an analogue signal which I can put through an ADC.

Thanks @PeterW -- It's knowing the right phrase again not the availability of the part.  I'll use the 200 PSI variant.
