ianfish
I attended with my father sin law and a number of others for a training day at Swindon Self Build. We had placed our order in advance of the event. The day was interesting in explaining the practical use of the product with many insights in how involvement with previous builds can and should improve new users interaction with ISOTEX. The course content was delivered by Jamie the boss of Insulhub supported by Andy. it was in my opinion an honest take on the product and positive hints on using the blocks. A huge step getting the training restarted, the day was sensible with current covid distancing. Plenty of opportunity to have a go at handling and laying some blocks and ask what ever you want of the product. I am glad we went, my father sin law until today had been interested in our choices made in our build to date, but it was good to see how he took on the day and to get to see the blocks. His starting point was why didn't we just use "traditional methods" but he came away enthused and not only keen to help, he's been really helpful anyway so far. He was clearly taken with using and wanting to help us to build our extension and summer house! Useful day overall. Roll on our delivery day! Alan
Hi Ian, I think i was on the same training course and also found it very useful. Owing to the social distancing we didn't really get a chance to chat with the other attendees! Good luck with your build and i hope you keep us posted with your progress Alan
