Hi all, i need a way to get a van to my build site (cabin in the woods...withought the woods!) the ground is about 25cm of topsoil and glacial till below.  It needs to be functional(pretty options later) and cheap. i was thining of dropping some MOT1, recommendations would be great and methodologies.  Thanks

Can you get road planings..??

 

Scrape the top off with a JCB and then put the planings down at 200mm deep, and then run a roller over it and it will be as hard as nails. 

Definitely need to strip the topsoil first in any case, then if it's only a van any stone circa 6inches deep should do ya, but if it was me and you want something that will take traffic better I'd use a larger stone first like 6f2 and then a topping of type 1.

 

Terram or such like under the stone always helps keep it right too.
