Does anyone happen to have a Villeroy and Boch Wall Hung Subway 2.0 Rimless Toilet?

If so, what cistern did you install it with and are you happy with how it works? The website I'm looking at says it's not suitable for use with a "flush valve" because it is a rimless toilet, but I have no idea what that is. It recommends their compatible V&B cistern and frame, but the cost of the flush plate I like on that range of of cisterns/frames is a complete rip off, compared to the rip off the the Geberit Sigma01 costs.

I have V & B toilets (not rimless) with Grohe frames and cisterns.  All fine.
