Irish Rover
Hi guys, I hope your all well? Has anyone got an accurate mortar calculator or explain to me how to calculate mortar properly? I use this one https://www.source4me.co.uk/calculate_brick_block_mortar.php but I often find it inaccurate and I'm often left with a surplus. I use this one https://www.source4me.co.uk/calculate_brick_block_mortar.php but I often find it inaccurate and I'm often left with a surplus. We used to calculate when mixed on site half went in the wall, and half on the floor, not used, or stuck to the mixer, borrowed. Most likely the problem is the difference between theory and what happened to it on the day. It can be as simple as brick frogs up or down or circular holes inside bricks being more or less filled and so on. Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck Marvin
