Steel/timber resin- which resin?

SE has specified concealed doweled steel plates at the connections of our glulam truss with the steel 'epoxy resined to the timber elements'.

 

Anyone got any recommendations for what resin to use, and where to get it?

I would phone Sika as they should have a product suitable. It might be worth asking the glulam supplier as well.

Definitely speak to the Glulam supplier. Unlikely the timbers will be treated but they could be. As above, Sika do do (odd english) make a very good but messy product for high strength wet tolerant bonding
