ASHP sizing and RHI payment calculation

I am going through working out what the potential RHI payments would be from my new build with an ASHP, and what ASHP size is needed.

 

For the RHI calc its asking for space and water heating in kWh per year

I have the SAP calcs which seem to have different figures for the space and water heating requirements

 

From EPC Costs WorkSheet

• Space heating requirement - 3406 kWh / year
• Water heating requirement - 881 kWh / year

 

From DER WorkSheet

• Space heating requirement - 5453 kWh / year
• Water heating requirement - 1385 kWh / year

 

From TER WorkSheet

• Space heating requirement - 8054 kWh / year
• Water heating requirement - 2816 kWh / year

 

From SAP WorkSheet

 

• Space heating requirement - 4669 kWh / year
• Water heating requirement -  1391 kWh / year

 

What information is needs from the sap to determine the size of the ASHP

It’s done on the EPC numbers. Play with the design to get lowest design flow temp possible as that will increase payments based on the manufacturer performance number (SCOP).
