Hi all, 

 

New to the forum, this may have been covered before but is there any free to use software to get some plans on paper for a small development we are looking at.

 

Not looking for anything fancy, just to get some ideas on paper so to speak, just to work out layout and usage of space etc...

planningwiz is free, but you cannot print directly or save more than 5 plans

For quick and dirty room layout planing you can't beat this -

It also create 3D views, but there is a learning curve to any 3D software, so take a bit of time to learn how it works. I use Blender for doing 3D visualisations but for rapid production of basic floorplans this is quicker so I still use it for initial mucking about.
