Hi everyone. Would appreciate some advice please. We are building a 40cm high gabion wall, which will be a step and seating area, going into garden room. We want to top the gabion with garden tiles/slabs and would like to know the best way to fix them to the gabion. Will concrete on the back of the slabs bind and fix to the gabion mesh? Do we need to place something under the gabion mesh? Any advice greatly appreciated. ?

You could cut a sheet of 18 ply to size Drill it and fasten it down with wire Then tile with a flexible adhesive

Probably worth squirting some foam under the ply to help it seat
