Hi everyone. Would appreciate some advice please. We are building a 40cm high gabion wall, which will be a step and seating area, going into garden room. We want to top the gabion with garden tiles/slabs and would like to know the best way to fix them to the gabion. Will concrete on the back of the slabs bind and fix to the gabion mesh? Do we need to place something under the gabion mesh? Any advice greatly appreciated. ?

Hi everyone, thanks for letting me join you. Lockdown has turned my partner and I into DIYers, like much of the population, and would like some advice please. We are building a 40cm x 7500cm gabion wall/step/seat. We would like to top the wall with some type of garden tile/slab but not sure how to attached it. Would cement bind to the gabion baskets and make it secure or not? I've seen pictures of what we want but nowhere says how to attach. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks ?
