Help for vinyl frlooring

Hello, I have a problem and I need your advice, I am doing repairs in my new house and I have already selected floors from vinyl boards, but then https://homeconstants.com/ I read that they emit toxins and cannot be used in children, I just have a daughter of 5 years old, I would not want to harm her, tell me how long they release toxins? Or maybe it's better to lay a laminate in the nursery?

How would we know how long they release toxins?

 

best ask the manufacturer of the product you intend to fit to ensure you child’s safety.

There was some discussion years ago about phthalates in vinyl flooring as they were possibly carcinogenic and as a result you can buy vinyl flooring that is phthalate free. I don't know if that is what you are referring to.
