NickB
Recent heavy rain has demonstrated that our building site and future home has some drainage issues that would benefit from a design by someone qualified, rather than just my groundworkers thoughts. Does anyone have a reccomendation for a good drainage designer or design service? Thanks
nod
Yes A good SE will do this Ours insisted on 4 cube under the Block and beam Running off to a central drain and a flood valve All just in case I thought way over the top at the time He explained that should the plot flood We could end up with the constants of our TP under the house Our SE took it upon himself to include all this in his foundation design So no chance of me or if I’d employed a Ground-worker varying from his design Pictured is me wrestling with 4 cube of concrete in torrential rain Worst day of the build As I thought it was a pointless task
DevilDamo
Providing the structural engineer also has civils experience. The smaller one (wo)man type bands generally specialise in one or the other.
