Joe87
Ive just finished building two piers 4 meters apart for a bi-fold door, out of dense concrete blocks. Ill be putting a steel beam across the opening. I need the height of the piers to be 2.1 meters as that is the height of the bi folds that i have. At the moment the piers are at a height of 1.95 meters each What should i use to make up the extra 150mm? Ive found a padstone on travis perkins which is D x 140mm H x 440mm L x 215mm. Laid face down would this be ok to use to make up the 150 or is there something else that exists that iv not seen or heard of? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks for any help. You can also cast your own padstone either in situ or make your own mould. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03n6tt8 Edit: Sorry its telling me the clip isn't available.
