Roz
Daikin seemed to be the cheapest heat pump we could get, but after bumping up to a 7kw and adding on a third party cylinder fittings kit, plus the control panel and controller, we were then advised that Daikin aren't preferred and that Grant are better... who knows. But when I get a price for the Grant heat pump it doesnt seem to have the 'controller' and 'control box' so I don't know if it's equivalent. I asked and was told it was included in the 'installation kit' but I can't see an equivalent in there? Anyone shed any light because I have no idea what the necessities are. Daikin 7kw £1940 Controller £79 control box £196 Third party cylinder kit: £185 Grant Aerona 6kw £1970 Installation kit: £430 prices plus vat https://www.cityplumbing.co.uk/Grant-Aerona-3-Installation-Pack-1-(Incl-Eight-Core-Accessories)/p/470492?uiel=Desktop
