September 17, 20206 yr Hi all I am about to embark on a new-build two-bed project in Bristol. It is 84 sqm and conventional construction. I have had a quote from ICW from the structural defect warranty of £3.3k for £200k of cover. Does that sound typical? Many thanks.
September 17, 20206 yr I think you can do better. I was getting quotes around that or less, for a house three times a big.
September 17, 20206 yr Yep, just had a quote for less than that for £500k of cover. Our building control folks are in Bristol and they will be covering both building control and warranty inspections which simplifies things a bit and so far (early stages) they’ve been good to deal with.
