Your momma sure does care about your schooling, Forrest :D

Will you CT1 every other grout line? No.
So don’t CT1 those ones. Simples.

But ! I ct1 the gap on the opposing wall as instructed by you master . Just assumed doing the same on the opposite wall would make a nice ct1 ‘corner’ - bullet proof .

Mummy said your tiling is crap

What's wrong with using no grout and just silicone in tile joints?

A real pita to hook out when the cosmetic silicone needs refreshing. The grout is fundamental and the silicone sacrificial.

Only if it’s a clear over a very tight cut / gap. Otherwise I have always said grout then seal.

And can we leave your mum out of this now? She’s trying to get some rest.

Ok ok ok

So why not ct1 then silicone just on the corner ? . My only point really is grout could crack ( though silicone will hold it in ) ; but ct1 won’t . Either way silicone is final layer .

Mummy said she has a headache and you should (expletive deleted) off now .

Anyway !

Say I use Mapei silicone and grout of the same colour - do they *really* match ?
