Dannyj84
Somehow overnight the waste pipe from the washing machine has come off the wall ending in a whole load of water soaking the floor (laminate) I've taken up all the laminate floor about 50% of it was wet underneath... Luckily we still have about 4 packs of it in the loft so enough to replace the wet boards. The flooring underneath I think is chipboard... This is currently wet. What is the best way to dry this out? Is it best to just let it dry naturally with a window open? Or use a dehumidifier? Electric heater etc? Most of the water was still sitting on the laminate when I came down this morning and I mopped it up so hopefully not a ridiculous amount got through. Many thanks
Temp
I would open windows and point an office fan at the effected area. When it feels dry keep going for a few more days.
